Yn y sesiwn hon bydd Pàdraig yn sgwrsio gydag Ifor ap Glyn ac yn darllen rhai o’i gerddi am hanes diweddar Ynys Lewis a thrafod ei ddylwanwadau a’i siwrne fel bardd. Sgwrs drwy gyfrwng y Saesneg yw hon gyda cherddi mewn Gaeleg yr Alban a chyfieithiad Saesneg iddynt ar y sgrin.

Poetic triple-decker: Ifor ap Glyn in conversation with Pàdraig MacAoidh

The poet and academic Pàdraig MacAoidh is originally from the Isle of Lewis and his poetry is influenced by the island’s Gaelic language and history. Sandwiched between three readings of his poems, Pàdraig talks to Ifor ap Glyn about language roots; shares stories about the recent history of Isle of Lewis and discusses his influences and his journey as a poet. (Scottish Gaelic text and English translation included).
